“The story is now published. Your expertise was very helpful in sorting between the claims of the different parties, but I unfortunately didn’t end up quoting you directly due to space constraints,” Jeremy Weber, News Editor Christianity Today magazine wrote on 6 October 2011 in response to a reply on his question about jargon used on repair versus rehabilitation of hand pumps in Central Africa. Digital library is a great help

A civil engineer thanks the information specialists of IRC's Digital Library for compiling and sending documents on biogas technology. " Thanks a lot! It has been a great help to us. Our company, Black & Veatch has initiated voluntary activities with Engineers Without Borders. We have formed a chapter in our Mumbai office. One of our members has found a project in Nasik on Biogas for 50 Animals, so we are collecting reference material. I feel IRC is a great resource for such activities in developing countries like India. I again thank you for sending such a valuable material to us."
Informative response used for school programme

DfID consultant thanks IRC for the "prompt and informative response" provided upon his question about the ratio of toilets to students. The respondent works on a primary school sanitation project in Nigeria and says: "I will follow up the leads that you have indicated and will let you know how the programme develops."
