IRC web site in eGranary digital library
Since November 2005 the IRC web site is part of the eGranary digital library. This library utilizes a common hard drive to store and deliver over 700 CDs worth of web pages and other digital educational resources. This “Internet in a box” requires no external connection and provides users with the look and feel of the Internet, including a powerful search engine.
Internet search article proves popular
The article "How to Find Water and Sanitation Information on the Internet?" by IRC's Cor Dietvorst and Ingeborg Krukkert is proving to be a very helpful resource. Posted on the IRC web site at the end of July 2004, it went straight into the top 5 of most downloaded PDF files on the site.
A virtual necessity - even the Vatican hits the IRC website
The IRC website is becoming one the most authoritative and best visited sites in the WASH sector. In 2004 there were almost a million ‘hits’ (page views) from people in 122 different countries.
